A leisurely drinking cruise

There is more to life than blogging about one's wee little child (or not-so-little as the case may be). Biking and drinking are just two of many things that come to mind. In fact, this blog was actually rooted in those activities, as the Saturday Night Bike Rides were too under-documented back in those days. But, as this author has strayed from regularity on those rides, the sighting of the famed "Pedal Pub" as it went past Quinn's day care will have to suffice as a means of reconnecting this corner of the web with those who drink and bike.

And with that, it is time to reflect on the goings-on just prior to the pub sighting: a window decorating project at Quinn's daycare...

The project was preceded by a parent/child potluck in which we got to socialize with the parents of Quinn's roommates.

In other Quinn related news, Heather finished Quinn's Halloween costume just in time for Zoo Boo. Since Quinn is so fond of Boobahs, Heather figured this is what she would want to be for Halloween if she were capable of saying as much.

Also, Quinn got a bee at the Farmer's Market on Saturday. I had the foresight to take a photo shortly after she received it. Moments later, one of the wings popped.

A pedal pub ... what a terrific idea!

We have been sorely out of touch in recent months ... what with Greece over the summer and all manner of other worries & distractions since ...

(by the way, they have universal health care in Greece.)
