July 2007

A couple of weekends ago David, Quinn and I made a trip to Duluth for a family reunion on the shores of Lake Superior. Many family members were able to meet Quinn for the first time. We attempted to get photos but the transfer process failed. So, unfortunately, there are no photos of this event to share at this time.

Quinn is now a little over 3 months old! The tiny helpless baby we remember has grown into a little person. She's able to hold her head up and she crawls upside down (she scoots around on her back). She's also learned to entertain herself with toys. This is an especially useful achievement. She's making lots of noises - laughs, coos, squeals and screams. My favorite development is the fact that she now sleeps 5 to 7 hours at a time. So for the first time in 3 months, I'm feeling well rested. This is a very good thing since I started back to work a couple weeks ago. Everything is going well so far. I just hope everything still goes smoothly once David returns to work.

There are new photos of Quinn and pictures from Three Lakes on the flickr account (click on Photos 2 on the sidebar).
