New Camera - New Photo Shop

I have a new digital camera. I had been wanting one for a long time as my old one was at least 5 years old and my list of complaints about it kept growing. I went to National Camera since I knew that I would get professional advice. After an hour experimenting with a variety of cameras and an employee patiently humoring my indecision, I purchased a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX1. I was surprised by my decision having not considered Sony prior to my visit to the store but I am very happy with it so far especially after taking their free introduction to your digital camera class to learn some tips beyond what is covered in the manual.

I'm glad that my experience was a positive one as my preferred photo processing store Midwest Photo Service has just gone out of business. I had been working with Rob and his staff for years and was always impressed with my experience there. They helped me with several personal projects that other places either couldn't or wouldn't do. I will miss them. As long as their website remains active, you can read more about the history of the company here.

Tripod

Today we mark another first. Quinn held her pencil with a tripod grip rather than using her fist. It was pretty cool!
